What is the legal age to buy/consume alcohol in France?
I'm 15 and I'm going to France in 3 weeks time. I heard that the legal drinking ages are ypunger over there than in the UK. If so does anyone know what these age(s) are is it lower if consumed with food. what is the legal age to buy alcohol, what is the legal age to drink alcohol and what is the legal age to drink alcohol with a meal.
18 years, officially, to order a beer or something in a bar. They are quite strict on this because their licence can be suspended. Anyway, you can still try and you will see. :)
In a restaurant, you can have a glass of wine with a meal if you are with adults.

France is a very interesting country, with more culture than you'll find here, and far more history.
read about where you're going, and think about what you'd like to do, and see.

i lived in paris when i was 15-16 and i was able to go to a bar and get beer and other drinks without any problems. then again - i was kind of big for my age.
