What is the most work done in France ???

Show all answers

Rillifane
As of 1999 the work force was divided as follows:

agriculture: 4.1%
industry: 24.4%
services: 71.5%

The principle industries are in machinery and transportation equipment, aircraft, plastics, chemicals, pharmaceutical products, iron and steel, and beverages (i.e. wine).

Howver, the largest single employer in France is the government which is one reason why the tax burden remains one of the highest in Europe (nearly 50% of GDP in 2005 .

TOTOs
France is the most visited country in the world.. so tourism is a big income.
They are also a high technology country selling planes, phones, army, etc to the entire world, industry is another big revenue.

Probably it's agriculture, which can be very labor intensive. The French do love their food and wine.

MaryJaneD
It's all done in the kitchen.
