one ticket is approx 2 euros. you can buy a carnet (a pack of ten tickets) for a cheaper amount. However, if you are goign to be there longer consider the carte d'orange. You can get a carte d'orange semaine (week pass) or even a month pass. go the the rapt website for the most up to date information. |

I just got a "Zone 1" ticket this past Saturday when I was in Paris for 5.40 Euro. It allowed unlimited travel all day within the inner zone. All of the things that I wanted to see were in this zone. It was such a good deal! |

as everyone else said, its 1,40 for just a normal ticket, and more if you want a carte orange.
However, if you are a student, you can get a carte imaginaire, which not only works faster then both tickets (you just pass it on the surface), it also has benefits, like cheaper meals or concert tickets.
If you want to go outside Paris into the banlieues (to la Defense for example) itll cost you around 3,50 allée, and around 7euros allée retour.
You can take demi-tarif, or half price for your tickets, but just remember that if you get caught itll cost you up to 60 euros in fines. |
