i know a little bit about alsace, i studied it last year.
they eat la tarte flambée, which is like a really flat, thin pizza with loads of cheese, onions and bacon.
and sauerkraut, or choucroute in french, which is a cabbage dish and the most famous one.
they also have the baeckeoffe, which is sliced potatoes and vegetables with pork or mutton.
for desserts, they have le kougelhopf, which is a dome shaped cake with almonds on top.

their wines are riesling and gewurtztraminer, which are both white.
their beer is kronenbourg, from the town of cronenbourg.

if you get the chance to try some of the dishes, i'd really recommend the tarte flambée, it's delicious.

all i know about lorraine is that's where quiche comes from!
