March weather is very unpredictable but I often visit Paris at this time of year since it is the tail end of the low season and good deals are often available for airfare.
The average high temperature in Paris is 11 degrees celsius (51 degrees farenheit), and the average low is 3 celsius (38 farenheit).
It will be wet and you can expect at least some rain 18 days in the 31 day month. Furthermore there are, on average, 2 days with snow every March (at the beginning of the month).

Generally cool, chilly at night. Frequently rainy and overcast though temperatures can get into the low 60s (F) on a calm sunny day.
But, like many European cities, the weather can swing widely either side of the seasonal norm. I've walked about comfortably in a T-shirt in late March... and had snowball fights in the Place du Tertre on Easter Sunday!

Its like fall season with rain. Bundle up if you are used to hot weather. If not, it will feel like fall. Nice and crisp air. Most of the shops and restaurants check coats so you shouldn't feel too stifled. Have fun. |
