What is the weather like in France in July?

I'm planning a trip to France in July and I was wondering what the weather is like (in Fahrenheit)

...Also, what clothes should i pack? (jeans or shorts?)

In Paris, in the north of France, Paris the average temperature in July is 75 degrees Farenheit with 2.2 inches of rain in the month.

In Nice, in the south the average temperature is 73 degrees Farenheit with 0.6 inches of rain.

As you can see, the weather is quite temperate but you should be prepared for the occasionally cool night and excessively hot daytime temperature.

Dress for your own comfort first but consider when choosing what you will take that the French tend to muted and dark colors. So if you have a choice then pick the little black dress rather than the hot pink toreador pants. Jeans are fine and make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes (not trainers).

Traveler
Typical summer weather. Temperatures ranging from the 70's to the 90's. Shorts and light clothing and bring a bathing suit. have fun.

is typical summer weather

Wanderlust
Depends on where you're going, but I'd do more shorts/skirts but with things you can layer, like cardigans. It can get a little cooler in the evenings b/c it's not as humid as most locales in the US. Also, light clothes for sleeping (tank top and shorts) b/c many of the hostels or cheaper hotels don't have A/C and you'll just use the open windows to cool down.

Bon voyage!
