Paris is an amazing place with loads and loads of things to do. The question really should be - what is it that you like to do in your spare time? You haven't told us what you like - just that you don't want to be at museums. Go to a book store or a library and get your self a frommers guide to Paris. It will have lots of suggestions for you.
I'll give a few of my own - maybe you will like them. Hang out on the plaza at Centre Georges Pompidou. Lots of young people and street performers. Get a meal in the Latin quarter - lots of lights in the trees and young students. Go for a boat ride along the Seine. You can't beat the food and the shopping. If you have the stomach for it, tour the sewers. I'm warning you though - there are real human bones. |

Paris is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. So the simple answer is that people can do whatever they like.
Can you speak French? If you can't then a lot of things would obviously be a waste of time. There's not much reason to go to a comedy club or the theater if you can't understand what they're saying.
I'm going to assume you're relatively young but old enough to drink and can't speak French, in which case you might like the Georges Café at 4, rue de la Huchette in the 5th arr. Here's a little video about it: http://www.pariszoomtv.com/place.asp?P=Georges+Caf%E9&H=video#VIDEO
If you'd be more specific about what you like to do then I could be more helpful. |

I went this past summer and I got really bored in my hotel so I went for a walk with my friends. The nightlife is amazing. Paris looks totally different at night...Go to the Eiffel Tower, it lights up at night. It is gorgeous! |
