deer, fox, wild boar, cows, rabbits, chickens and more

Rillifane
In terms of domesticated animals. Picardie is known for its dairy and beef cattle.

Picardie has some excellant bird sanctuaries such as the Parc du Marquenterre. The estuary of the Somme is one of the most significant European stopovers for migratory birds. Nearly 340 species have been identified, including certain particularly rare ones such as the Great Bittern or the Garganey.

The Baie de Somme is home to the largest colony of Atlantic harbour seals in France.

lol it's funny you ask this; it reminds me of a song by a French band called "les Fatals Picards" who are from Picardie , and they have a song called "les animaux de la ferme" (farm animals!)
maybe you will get an answer there!!

Malvina85
cows, a lot of cows
