But it is variable according to regions. For example, in the North, we eat more apple of earth(ground) (chips) than in the South. In the South, we eat more vegetables.

But it is also variable according to families, culture...

Generally, we appreciate the wine. The cheese. We like taking time to eat. We like yoghourts. The bread is always

We eat pastas, pizza, hamburger...

A meal = an entrance(entry) + a main flat(dish) + the cheese + harms(serves) andor coffee(cafe)

Hello,
We eat a little of all.
The things like snails, frog legs are exceptional, it's rare to eat that.
However the bread is the basis of the dayly meal.

A typical usual french meal can be :
a little salad with tomato in enter
then some red or white meet+rice or vegetable
a little piece of cheese
a yoghurt or a fruit as dessert.

But too, we eat french fries, fast food, pasta,...

My own preference is to do a big salad with salad, egg, tomato, mozarella, ham, and eat that.

In Brittany, we like to eat seafoods, oysters, seasnails .. with salted butter on bread and with a white wine (sec).

We eat also "galettes". Kind of crepes but far bigger with a specific flour of "black wheat". We cook it in a pan with ham, gruyère (cheese) and an egg.
The egg can either be mixed in a bowl and spread on the galette, it is called "brouillé" ; or either you separate the white from the yolk, spread the white on the galette to cook it and at the end simply disposite the yolk at the top. It is called "mirroir".

You can also cook galettes with other stuff like cooked calliflower, "andouille de guéméné" (a kind of pork sausage with strong flavour), mushrooms (in autumn and winter), tomatoes (when it is the season in summer).

With galettes, we drink cidre : sweet or "brut".

You can also find artichokes in Brittany. It is eaten cooked, with a dressing made of oil, salt, pepper, and "moutarde de Dijon".

We have a specific drink that is "chouchen" (honey mead) also called hydromel, the beverage of ancient celtic gods.
