toulouse is the capital city of the south west part of france and you find there all the sprecialities of south west. the most famous are :
- foie gras !!
- preserved duck
- Toulouse sausage
- cassoulet : butterbeans with pork, toulouse sausage, preserved duck.....
- violette candies (with a special violette from toulouse)
- blood sausage with apples
- Armagnac (alcohol, not far from brandy or cognac)
- jurançon wines... and many many others from bordelais, languedoc, frontonnais or gaillac...
- Roquefort cheese and many other cheeses from mountains (Pyrenean or Central mountains) just like cabécous (goat cheese)... |
