You need a passport in working order, which will not end within the next two months. You also have to check if you do not need a visa as well and for this it is better if you contact the nearest French consulate. If I remember correctly you have a Commonwealth passport, not a British one, and this makes a big difference. |

YEA! A passport is a passport! Certain ones don't take you to certain places! You can go anywhere you want! |

Well, I had to look up St Helena since I had never heard of it. But as it is a British territory you should have no problems travelling through Europe. |

yes , yes , are you a descendant of Bonaparte , if so , given the problems in France I am sure they'll welcome you with open arms . France is a beautiful country with warm welcoming people and picturesque towns and cities , you'll enjoy it . |

That should be fine. All they really want to know is that you have your country's paperwork in order, and that they can track you. A passport from any country will work.
Hope this helps. |

A valid one usually helps. Not out of date, like. You might also need a visa, you should contact your nearest French Embassy or Consulate and find out. Don't bother asking here. |
