Here is a a simpler version of her story:
http://www.lawbuzz.com/justice/joanof_arc/joanof_arc.htm

Chapters 1-6 set the context, read them and sum them up in a couple of sentences = 30 seconds

Chapters 7-14 are about Joan's life, battles and trial. Sum up each chapter in 1 or 2 sentences = 2 minutes

The next two chapters show how she was viewed after her death and what legacy she has left as a symbol of resistance, one sentence for each chapter = 30 seconds

She was a revolutionary. She said she had visions from God that told her to reclaim French land that England had taken in war years earlier. She was only a teenager and led her army into battle, won some battles, then was captured and tried. The English then burned her at the stake. She was an insperation for French generals for hundreds of years to come.

The was later beatified and sainted in the early 1900s.

you can also say that the national feeling in France appeared during the hundred years war against the english , somehow thanks to Joan of Arc.

she heard voices that told her to go free the kingdom of france from the english.
she was a shepherder and never had fought before.
many claimed her to be crazy, i think she was the first person to experiment LSD
