Any good guidebook will list all the sights. Get one, read it, and make your own decisions about what interests you. Being a "good tourist" demands that you engage yourself in depth with your destination before you go.

In any case, the point of traveling ought not to be just collecting a list of things you've seen without regard to whether you understand or appreciate them.

You have absolutely no chance of seeing everything in Paris in two weeks (much less 4 days as stated above). What you can do is see a lot of famous tourist sights (Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Arc de Triomphe) and begin to dig a bit beneath the surface here and there.

Consider that to simply spend 1 minute looking at each artwork in the Louvre would require spending 72 eight hour days looking at art. and the Louvre is only one of the museums of Paris (albeit the largest). A person who can't figure out what someone would do with two weeks in Paris is a moron.

But don't sweat if you don't see "everything" because if you're a person with decent taste you'll be back.

NB: the oldest restaurant in Paris is NOT La Tour D'argent which opened in 1780. It is the Procope which opened in 1686.

Just be careful....they are very rude to Americans. (just from my own experience)

Monmatre - the artists area, the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathederal and the bateau mouche - these are the boats which you can book a table for dinner on, they depart about 8pm, the food is excellent, they have great entertainers, you can also dance to a small band and all this whilst you are going under the fabulous bridges on the Seine. The last time we went it cost us around £60. per head. But you must book well in advance. The oldest restaurant in Paris is La Tour D'Argent (the silver tower) - you will never eat finer food - the wine list is as big as a bible and it is incredibly expensive but sometimes its good to spoil yourself ! I think that the cheapest wine there was around £50 per bottle and our meal - 3 courses - around £120. per head. Enjoy Paris but i don't know what you will do for 2 weeks as it really is not that big. Perhaps visit Versailles or take a train down to the Loire Valley for a couple of days sightseeing the Chateaux.
Have fun !!

The urinal. Come to think of it, the entire paved surface in the city, including sidewalks and streets are one giant urinal, so it would be nearly impossible to miss it.

You should go in france.
Do you known the castle of versailles?
It is the beautiful castle in the world and it is at 20 minutes of Paris with the train.

the ferry.

The parks in the city centre are amazing. To be honest though in 2 weeks you will have time to see everything... we went for 4 days earlier this year and had seen all of the main attractions just in this short time. Enjoy your trip!
