They use two pin adapters. You will need an adapter that goes form the UK three prong to the French two pin. Here's a site that will help you slect the correct adapter.

yes i would if you want to use any think of yours like hairdryer.

they use euro pin so you need an adaptor. If you've 2 or 3 things then the best way is taking one plug adaptor and then a 4 way extention lead to plug into it!
