What´s the best way to go from Paris to London? Train, plane?

I´m going to travel in June and I´d like to go from Paris to London. I´ve found very cheap plane tickets but I´m afraid it may take a long time (London-airport and airport-Paris)and it laso could cost a lot? Any suggestions?

I just spent the weekend in Paris and I travelled by Eurostar - it takes you straight into the city and you can just pop on the metro from there to your final destination - the Eurostar was quick comfortable and easy - if you travel by plane you may get cheap tickets but then they add on surcharges etc and you would have to make your way to and from the airport at both ends and that would cost time and money. Travelling on the metro in Paris is easy and very cheap. good luck

I agree with londonon - the train is the easiest, smoothest and most relaxing way to go...you get to see some views of both countryside and the train brings you directly to central London...You also save money by not getting taxis and/or the underground when you go by plane...
Enjoy your trip whichever way you decide to go!

I used to live in Paris and my boyfriend used to live in London...every week-end I was going, going, going. So, I learned that the Eurostar is the best way to get directly from city to city, the trip is 3 hours and then there is the time difference. Then I learned about the flights...they can be cheaper, you get a snack (British Airways), and it takes maybe an hour...I used to love leaving Paris at 7AM and getting to London at the same time I left!! The only thing is, you go airport to airport...which can be a pain in the butt...though both cities have subways/tubes/metros that go to the airports...it can be time consuming. I suppose it all depends on which manner you prefer to travel in, on land and below sea or above sea and land?? I am not too sure if you have sky miles...but there are a lot of offers that you can receive. I have a lot of Virgin airmiles and they offer roundtrip European-European destination tickets for a redemption of 12,500 miles. The redemption for a Eurostar ticket is 30,000 miles...just a thought.

Try RyanAir if you want the cheapest... you can get flights for as low as $5. www.ryanair.com

You can also try EasyJet www.easyjet.com

But if you want an incredible underwater experience, try EuroStar: http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/index.jsp

By far go EUROSTAR.
I have made this trip so many times, its by far quicker as you arrive in the middle of the city, and dont have the cost of time and Euros to get from CDG airport.

definitely the eurostar train service. City to city, no waiting around, clean and efficient - plus you travel in an under-sea tunnel. How cool is that?!
