You will communicate by learning French. Buy a beginners' book on French and read it before you go, also take it with you. |

First don't panic. If you know some basic French you'll soon be able to work out what's going on. Immersion is the best way to learn a language when you're young. Just don't worry that you'll say something wrong. They know you don't speak much French - that's why you're going. Once your French is good enough for it to matter, they will correct you. |
