I'm going with her, but I've already been to paris several times, but this will be her first trip there (I'm not sure how long she''l be staying, btw)

-Pompidou center
-Montmartre
-Orsay museum
-the galleries Lafayette
-walk on the Champs Elysees
-touch the Eiffel tower
-look at the Louvre (but not go inside)
-boat trip maybe
-Notre Dame

What about parks? Try "le jardin du luxembourg" , "le bois de vincennes" or "les buttes chaumont" or even "le pere lachaise". I would recommend "la butte de Belleville" (20e arrondissement) for a very nice view of the city.

Why not go up the Eiffel Tower, and go in the Louvre? I didn't think it would be that big a deal, but these were some of the highlights of my trip. I'm not into art, but the Louvre was amazing. Just spent a couple of hours, but I was extremely surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
