Even if art is not your thing there is plenty to see and even more to do in Paris.
There's nothing you absolutely need to see sinces its your time and a matter of your taste but the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, the Arc de Triomphe, Invalides and the Opera Garnier (the old opera) are all good things to at least take a look at. You do this since these places get shown in movies and TV shows all the time and its always fun to be able to casually say to your friends "Oh yeah...I've been there."
But aside from that, Paris is a great place to eat, the food is legendary, and the nightlife is stunningly good.
No matter what type of music you like, you'll find it in Paris. If you're into Jazz then you can hear more if it in Paris than in most American cities. Clubs open late and many stay open until the sun comes up. You can party all night any night of the week.
There are everything from very elegant places with rope lines populated with celebrities dressed in high fashion to great little hole in the wall clubs filled with students in blue jeans. |

You can do a lot of things in 3 days, especially if you can walk a lot. Even just walking around in paris in 3 days will provide you with much joy. A lot of beautiful parks, boulevards, museums, but it depends on what are your interests. |

I just returned and my favorite thing to do was walk and take it all in. Start at the Tuilliaries and walk towards the Arc up the Champs Elyssee. |

Obviously the Eiffel tower. Don't get tensioned up about trying to cram all the sightseeing. But please, don't waste time on smooching on french baked goods. |

I was there for 4 nights, and I saw all the touristy spots and others too, but it was hectic. Definitely go to the latin quarter, I think it's the 5e arr. And the jardin du luxembourg is around there too.
And notre dame. sacre coeur is also a good place to go, and you get to see the moulin rouge while youre in the area. The maps will usually have stars on the main attractions , and take advantage of the metro.
And most importantly, have fun, enjoy the good food, and bonnes vacances!! |
