What two or three things, that you might normally forget, are definite needs in Paris? |
During my first trip, I brought the obvious things (camera, guide books, batteries, etc.), but I found myself wishing I had other items like a corkscrew and a compass (easy to get "turned around" in some of the smaller neighborhoods). Any suggestions for "little things" that come in handy? |

Hi,,, try comfortable shoes.... for walking.... my feet got tired the last time , a few months ago,, for wearing the wrong shoes....

a map of the tube system - good shoes - wipes (for bathroom use or hand cleaning after eating in the street). I tend to carry a small notebook so I can records addresses I want to go to, tips from people I meet in the street, cost of museums or train schedule! |

Euro adapter comes in handy to recharge laptop or camera (i use rechargeable batteries). Umbrellas take up hardly any room and we could have really used one the seven days I was there. It would rain for like 20 min a day and then be clear again. |
