I have a internet gf from Paris who says she loves me and my family. I keep asking for her phone number and address so I can send her gifts and cards. She doesn't want to give them to me. I am panning to visit her in Feb to be with her for two weeks. I keep getting told she is not what she seems because she won't give me this info. She hasn't even shown herself on cam. just pics. My dad says it might be a man who wants to rape me or enslave me. What you think? Anyway I can get the info behind her back? |

Ask her a picture of herself - she can easily do this - and an intermediary adress - a neutral adress ( professional adress - friend's adress ) - that is the way you can have the solution - maybe her attitude is just prudent for herself - and maybe she's not european - in that case she has to tell you, just like you in the other sense |

Check her email adress or ask her for her internet provider. Once you have that, you can check for her address or phone number through the web provider's database.
Also ask for her complete name and then go on to this website:
http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/trouverunnom/RecherchePagesBlanches.do (French white and yellow pages)
There is another way to do it, just to check if she lives in France or not. Have her send you an email, get the IP adress of this email and then go on the web and find an IP adress tracer....you'll find where she lives.

I would definitely proceed with caution. Internet romances can be scams to separate people from their money. Her failure to give you this info proves she may trying to hide the fact that she has misrepresented herself physically or age wise.

It could turn out you haven't been corresponding with a female. There's a well known scam coming out of Nigeria where men in Internet cafes spend the whole day trying to scam people into sending them money or accepting shipments for stolen goods and then sending them on to a third party.
.
If she suddenly needs money for something chances are it's a scam and the person may disappear into thin air as soon as you send it.
.
I would hold off traveling to France to meet her without at least her phone number or address in advance. Cancel that trip because all you have are words in a computer. Especially if she continues to give the info.

She might be married, or not female, or a variety of other things. Ask for details about where she lives. What's nearby, what's the closest intersection, etc. Ask for her postal code. |
