Try the Printemps stores. You can look them up in line to see if they carry what you want. The area of St. Honore has lots of high end shops. |

The Galleries Lafayette is great for all the big names. They are also not far from Printemps. This is the best time to shop because of all the sales. And if you you spend enough money make sure you have them to write you a tax ticket and you can get a refund (VAT) when you leave the country. In some cases it can be up to 15%. So you want a $3000 bag, its half price, and if you can get your hands on a coupon ( I found a 10% off one in a free tourist brochure) you save another 150 and then 225 refund. So its definitely worth it to go for the luxury stuff at this time of year. Have fun! |

That's pretty easy... Gallerie Lafayette, Printemp are the two biggest department stores (both are very nice). Then of course there's Champs Elysees where you'll find all the things you mentioned. But, you can also find a lot of great places off Champs Elysees (George V for example, Quentin Bouchouart). |
