I'm in the northwest, what's the cheapest way? Easy Jet from London? A ferry over? What's a budget way to travel over north France while i'm there aswell, train?...
What was the capital city's name in ancient roman times and what is its nickname today? Also, what museum in this country is home to the worlds most famous painting?
I need the answers as ...
I already know what sights I'm going to see, but are there any items that you can only get in France that would be interesting to bring back to America to wear/use/share, etc?...
my family is going to london and paris for spring break. im 16 and my sister is 18. we're planning to go to the bars at night. how old do u have to be?
You can buy beer & wine at age 16 and liquor at age 18. There's no law about how old you have to be to drink it. For special occasions, even younger children may have a glass of watered down wine (according to my French teacher). Drinking is pretty expensive in France, though, so pace yourself.

same situation with me! same ages and everything..you have to be 16 to buy beer and wine and 18 to buy hard alc. but if your sister buys it you can drink it there really is no drinking age its just an age when you can buy it.

16 but if you look younger some of the barmaid might want you to show them your identity card or passport (we are used to have problems with minors who want alcoholic drinks)
