When climbing the Eiffel Tower would you use the stairs or take the lift?

we took the stairs by accident, was wondering why there was such a huge queue on one side and not the other, it was only after we bought out ticckets that we realised it was stairs :o) funny times... we made it tho! was hard work too!

I'd use the lift and get off two floors before the top so everyone would think I'd hiked all the way and arrived unwinded.

Well now if you took the lift you would not be climbing the Eiffel Tower now would you?

It's a long hike to the top so I would suggest taking the lift to the top and walking down.

lift and walk down amazing!

Definitely the Lift as I don't want to be knackered by the time I reach the top and possibly pass out ;-)

I never like the lift and would have taken the stairs if the people I was with had not protested so much. I would take the stairs on a nice cool day.

I would take the lift for the conveince.
Take the stairs if you have good health and lots of time.

I'm on vacation in France right now. Was just in Paris on Saturday. I suggest taking the lift.

matty2792
Oh i did this last month! =D.

I took the lifts up to the top on the way up, and then obviously took the lift from the 3rd to 2nd floor on the way down, and then walked it down the stairs from the 2nd to ground floors. Only, once we realised our group was still on the 2nd floor, we had to get the lift back up there again. =D.

Kenley
If you have the time and are good enough health, take the stairs up. But know that it takes two lifts to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

The lift all the way, however if you really want to take the stairs do it on the way down much less work!

Robert
