When is evening??

here in france, they say BONSOIRE from the afternoon. i never got that_from what hour is it considered evening then??

No the reason to it is simple: it's considered that after noon is not the morning anymore and there are 2 ways to say "hello" which are "bonjour" and "bonsoir"! So after noon, some people say "Bonsoir"!

I would think it's after work. Maybe after 5, that is the time most people come out of work. They all say have a good evening.
