Where are some places, globally, I should without a doubt see?

You are now allowed to leave this planet before you have rested your eyes upon the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. And just visiting Egypt itself is an adventure. But please take my advice and go only in December or January because any other time of the year is just too hot and dry and dusty. Enjoy!

There are many places too see that are moving spiritually and awe inspiring. But what you should first look at is what are your interest, and what inspires that little kid in you? for Art and history I have found nothing to rival Vladivostok, Russia. However buyer beware if you do not speak the language fluently and or have a trusted representative and "Insider" guide it really could suck.
Another awesome place was northern New Zealand, fantastic beaches great people! Then there are the river trips of South America (my favorite use to be Cost Rica)
then try to get lost in South Africa you will be amazed at the wild life, and scenery. Or how about a bare foot cruise around the horn during the mid summer and experience that your great grand children will be talking about. What do you think about scuba diving in the Bearing Strait.
Really it is all about you and what kind of adventure you are interested in or not interested in. I have found some of the best places to look for a trip have been nothing more than throwing a dart and then working on getting lost while learning local customs and languages on the streets.

Japan in April during the Cherry Blossom Festival. It's the most beautiful time to be there all year, and there is a lot of activity. It's a great time to see a lot of the cultures as well as the sights.
