According to Aeroports de Paris there are NO Luggage (Les Consigns) facilities at any Paris airport.
For reasons of safety the luggage locker services have been suspended at Roissy-CDG and Orly, in compliance with the anti terrorist VIGIPIRATE Plan.
My philosophy is to pack light and perhaps mail or ship any items that you feel are absolutely necessary to purchase.
Other options to consider include luggage storage at one of the train stations.
According to http://www.parisinfo.com
"New : Due to the "Vigipirate" security measures, the left-luggage offices in the following stations are closed: Gare Montparnasse, Gare St Lazare, Gare d'Austerlitz. Those that are open: Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and Gare de Lyon.
Activity : So that you don't have to carry your bags around with you, left-luggage lockers are available in some of the main train stations. Keep hold of the ticket from your locker which will enable you to retrieve your luggage. It is advisable not to place objets of value in the lockers - the things you place there remain your own responsibility. Bicycles are not permitted. The deposit price (pa
yable in coins, make sure you have some change handy) depends on the size of the locker: 3.40 euros(1), 5 euros (1) or 7.5 euros (1) for up to 72 hrs. (In Paris-Montparnasse station, a certain number of lockers accept payment by credit card). In other stations, you can place your luggage in the manned offices, prices are: 4.50 euros (1) per item (suitcase, package), for each 24 hrs, 5.30 euros (1) per bicycle, wheelchair, or carriage, for each 24 hrs. The left-luggage lockers or offices may be temporarily unavailable for security reasons. Tel. Gare de Lyon: 01 53 33 60 18"
Also, in England a service called "Left Luggage" is available. I am not aware of any such service in France.
Left Luggage - http://www.excess-baggage.com/storage_services.php
Excess Baggage Group operates the left luggage facilities in all terminals at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, and at most Mainline Rail Stations.
All items are x-rayed and held in fully secure premises, monitored by 24 hour CCTV.
Safe travels!

Simply go to Terminal 2 at Charles de Gaulle Airport and look or ask for "Bagages Du Monde". They will store your luggage for you. $15 per 24 hour period. Shop closes at night though. |

You can do this, no problem. Just tell your airline that you want to and they can arrange for your bags to stay in storage, either at the airport or nearby.
I'm not sure what 9/11 has to do with the other person's answer but I wouldn't listen to them. |

You can check with Charles De Gaulle Airport for that information. However, after 9/11 Attacks, most airports and any other public storage places no longer allow anyone to store their belongings, for security purposes.
There were places, hotels, bus stations, and airports that would let you rent a locker for instance, and keep your stuff there until you were ready to pick them up, but since the attacks, they discontinued this service. That's here in the U.S. but have no doubt they are also doing it in other cities outside L.A.
Check with the airport. |
