Paris is the capital of France and capital of fashion. It is one of the biggest cities in Europe. But the most impressive in Paris is the architecture. If you get there you must visit the old center of the city, where you can see the Notre-Dame Cathedral,Sacre-Coeur, La Tour Eiffel, Louvre Museum, Assemblee Nationale, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées and not forget about Disneyland Paris. Also is said about Paris to be the most romantic city in the world and with no doubt one the most beautiful. The romantic atmosphere is......

I have found France much more welcoming than London, France is awesome, go there rather than London. The French are not mean if you just try to talk french. And the folks in the country are great and it is so beautiful. I can agree that you can run into some rude paris folks, but I found the same true in London.

I would opt for London. France doesn't seem to be a nice place to visit lately.

Go to London . France will not be a warm welcoming place to be like people think it is.

blondedude
France, absolutely. There`s so much to see and the people are much more polite.

I would`nt even consider of travelling to london. Nothing but a football huligans, narcomans, industrie suburbs, slumms, traffic jams and ugly buildings.

mugglemel
I really like both, but if you can't go to both go to London.

London.

If you speak French then Paris is a wonderful place to visit, however if you cannot speak French then you can sometimes find it frustrating to get around. London is easy to get around and a great city for tourists! I have been to both London and Paris twice and I enjoyed London more, both times.

?
both

They are both excellent destinations but I'd pick Paris.

London is very expensive and more difficult for a first time visitor to get around because the "sights" are more spread out.

Paris is far less expensive and a more compact city in terms of tourist sights. You can see by walking much more easily than London where you will have little choice but to using mass transit (or taxis).

Both -- France & London. But bear in mind that both countries have different currency exchange. France uses the Euro while UK (London) uses Sterling Pounds, which is double the value of Euro.

So, bear it in mind if you're travelling with a budget. ;-)

In my opionion, France.
Paris is a beatuiful city with many places to go and many things to see. There is great food there to

Paris and London, if you have time for both. Paris if you have to make a choice.

1) romantic city.
2) exotic: different language.
3) architecture: a mix of Middle-Age and Renaissance buidings with modern (19th century) style buildings.
4) size: Paris is much more a human size city where London (which I personally love) is much bigger.

Enjoy! Bon voyage!
