There are lots of relatively inexpensive hotels in Paris in the center city. The Left Bank and the area of the Latin Quarter and adjacent areas are good places to look.
To get there from CDG take the RER B (commuter train) from the airport to the St. Michael station. |

From CDG airport it's a bus (in July it was 8.50 euros/ticket) to the Garnier Opera. From here in about 5 min. you 'll be, walking, at the Ascot Opera hotel - rue Monsigny no.2. It's a small one, not expensive and very well located. Bon voyage ! |
