@marion : I'm french and will never go to live in Paris ! all depends on what each of us enjoy...

As a foreigner, maybe I would choose Toulouse so I'm closer to mountains and sea, and as I have never lived in Lyon or Toulouse I have no more points to choose. Both are quite big cities, both are quite close to the counryside, both seems to have a good cultural (and night) life, both have their own special foods, both have different people...

paris!! i stayed there for a while late last year when i took a short course. it is expensive but its worth it. its paris =)

you just have to be patient in looking for an apartment. maybe share with someone? or maybe if you know a friend who lives in paris, that would be great.

=)

Sure Paris is great, but it's very expensive. Lyon is good too, my brother had been living in Lyon for one year and really liked it. But I do prefer Paris!!! (I'm french so I know what I'm talking about!)

i don't think the french know what the word fun means. why don't you rather go to italy, at least they don't all smell like garlic and red wine...
