They are both great countries. Both are beautiful. What kind of things are you interested in? Do you know either language? Do a little research. I've been to both, both are fun and interesting and great to visit.
Its kind of like asking us to compare Texas and California. Both have sights to see, things to do. |

They are both wonderful places to vist but I would go to France rather than Italy. Imagine France! The eiffel tower, paris, the best resteraunts. But imagine Italy, the home of pizza! You can see the leaning tower of pisa and have delicious Italian food.
1st place-France
2nd place-Italy.
That is my opinion. Try visiting both. Both are very nice but go with the one that you really wonder about. Or you could flip a coin :) |

Both are better ! lol
I live in south of France not far from Italy so I would travel to both countries if you can -
it's not far at all if you go down south to the Mediterraneen coast !
Have a good trip ! |

That's a really hard question. You know what? You can do two things: you can either toss a coin, or you can base yourself in either country near the border ... and visit both of them! But you won't see much of either .... |

depends on your particular taste
they're both cool |

I like both places, but I would probably lean towards France. Alot of places in Italy seemed dirty to me--especially Rome. Biggest waste of time ever. |

I've been to both. I loved both. But if I had to choose, it would be Italy. Lots of interesting cities that are closer to get to. Milan, Venice, Rome, Florence all within a 3-4 hour drive of each other. Lots more ancient history, religion, and food is great. |

I think Italy is mcuh better because it's not all about fashion or impressing people as much. Italy to me is a place where you get the feel of it more and you get to experience something that seems real. Plus italian food is really good. |

I have been to France and it is beauuuutiful. But Italy looks gorgeous, too. Depends on what you like.
But if you are American, I suggest Italy. :) |
