Here are the ones I know:
Normandy: Etretat cliffs, Mount Saint Michel bay
Loire Valley: Chambord Castle, towns along the Loire river (Chaumont sur Loire, Amboise)
Languedoc Roussillon: the Causses, Gorges du Tarn, de l'Ardèche
Brittany: cliffs in Finistère, Morbihan Gulf
Massif Central: pic du Sancy and other "pics"
Pyrénées, Alps, Jura mountains
Rhine Valley villages in Alsace, Koenigsbourg castle, some areas in the Vosges
CĂ´te d'Azur: Calanches
Corsica: Scandola, Bonifacio cliffs, Calanche of Piana and many, many others

Let's put it this way: a French friend of mine told me her parents never went on holiday outside of France - not because they were chauvinistic, but because there was so much variety to their own country they hadn't exhausted all the options yet!

CameraManuel has some good suggestions - I just want to add:
Alsace: the Vegetable Patch of France, it has the wineroute, Germanic little villages, gorgeous nature parks
Provence: lavender and sleepy rolling hills
Brittany
the Loire region
Beaches in Aquitaine
Corsica

I love Avignon and Mont St Michel

The whole of France is a scenic spot, apart from the North coast which is very cold and quite ugly in places. The Alps are a favorite of mine, summer is one of the nicest times to go, all the flowers are in bloom and it looks lovely.

There are so many of them!
The culture is awesome, every town has something on offer, and if your are looking for landscapes, France is a suprisingly interesting country with so many different types of landscapes. There are beautiful beachers with cliffs in Normandy, glaciers in Haute-Savoie, old romans town in the South, forests in the east...
Start out in Paris, though, you should not miss this one...
It would be a good idea to search the net or buy a guidebook and start planning.

HI,

Here it is :

We are in The Loire and We also have gites at http://www.loireholiday.com .

Vist our web site if you are planning a break here we have lovely gites.. and we will give you a 10 % discount on booking..if you mention this article.

If you get fed up I have given you a wine site to visit as well.

Travel for kids

The Loire region is dotted with castles along the rivers, and it's no wonder, since the French and the English had a major tug of war over who controlled these lands, culminating in the Hundred Years' War. Here Joan of Arc lifted the seige of Orleans, the kings of France made their royal residences, and, oddly enough, Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years and was buried in Amboise. There's so much to see, kids will become castle experts from their visit to the Loire

I have tried to give you a few places to visit you will never get tired of visiting the Loire or Saumur. The chateaux are wonderful.

Best of Luck and have a great holiday,
