I've been twice - once to Disneyland with my children, then for a weekend. Imagined I would buy loads of lovely stuff, but ended up watching crazee motorists driving round the roundabout from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. We walked miles, but like some parts of London, there seemed to be very few shops - just some cafes....we were probably in the wrong part.

yes I got some cute t shirts. GO TO THE POMPADEAU CENTER!!!!!!! THE BEST GIFTSHOP IN THE WORLD!! I could have EASILY spend $300 and not have gotten everything I wanted.
Also African men (illeagily) sell little knicknacks, I got a cute knock off Dior purse for 10euros and it is great!

it was gr8 & i hope to go back!!

I go all the time, I try go as many weekends as I can. I usually just buy things like Clothes and DVD’s (Paris so much cheaper than here). In my opinion it’s the best city in the world.

I didn't buy anything terribly nice there, but I thought it was awesome! I went last april. The weather was perfect, the sites were amazing and, contrary to popular belief, I thought the people were great.

I see a big crétin above... I wash myself everyday and kind of... screw your stupid prejudice.
My god some people have such a tight mind.

Liked the city and its sights, though it's was a bit difficult to get around due to language barriers. Spent a mini-fortune at Disneyland Paris (outside the city) and bought several mementos, gifts, souvenirs for self and friends.

I've been 3 times, thought it was over-rated everytime, and the smell was terrible (not garlic or any food - but garbage).

The staff in restaurants we awful too - I thought it might be 3rd time lucky - some chance

I went there and bought lots of shoes and perfumes. The tourist attraction is the best

I've been there, thought it was an awful stinky place made worse by the Parisians, even the normal French people hate the Parisians, they are rude, stuck up, and dont wash*

*some of them may wash, just not most of the ones I had the misfortune of meeting
