I have only been round the outskirts of Paris but I love France in particular the French Alps. Nothing like your own country though is there?

I love everything about Paris except for two things: tiny hotel accomodations and Charles DeGaulle airport. Both suck terribly, but if you can get over those 2, then Paris is the bomb!

Do you ever find yourself floating off to distant memories, most of which send you into the heart of Paris. If so, I won't feel so stupid because I have this same thing happen to me all the time.
I lived in Northern Paris (Cergy Val D'Oise) for 6 months and spent about 6 weeks living in Southern Paris (Anthony). I have to admit that for all the days I spent riding around Paris or just taking in what was around me their suddenly became a place in my heart that will never go away. I miss it so much, I'll just have to go back again won't I . . .

I HEART Paris too... big time. I just got back from an 8-day visit two weeks ago.... my fifth trip. It never gets old.

I was there over the weekend; last time I was there was in 2000. I'm going back this fall. I'm happy I went back. I haven't wanted to go back in years with the lack of support we got from them in Iraq, but I realize I really like the place.

It is a rather nice place isn't it? I love the Opera and Marais districts the best although the area around the Gare De Nord is quite nice as well.

I live in Paris and yes it's wonderful. I do hate when people say Paris, France, though. It should either be Paris, or Paris, Texas if you mean the ripoff.
