It is romantic, no doubt. The Seine, the sparkley lights of the Eiffel Tower at night, all the gardens, the cafes, and that's just Paris. In southern France in Provence, the lavendar fields by abbey de senaque (sp.?) and the hot sun and beaches at St. Tropez and all the pastel colored buildings in the old town of Nice. No doubt. I would be hard pressed to name a country that is more romantic than France.

ITs so romantic!- little tiny streets people on bycicles-everything is lit up at night-music playing everywhere you go- amazing food and entertainment. When my husband and i went there it was the most romantic getaway ever. He lived there for two years without me and having me there made it even more special to us both.

It's a just different style, I guess. Look at how women wear their clothes. Good food, good wine etc ... somethings gotta give lol

The ambiance. Try walking along the seine and having a picnic on the pont des arts with your lover. You'll feel exhilarated. Make sure to bring wine and some snacks. The golden sun reflecting off the river and the majestic architecture will convince you.

I have no idea. They drive too fast and speak with a funny accent,I guess some people find this attractive.lol,I'm only after points, trying to reach the 4000 mark.

Glad it's not just me!
Went to Paris and was very underwhelmed...

I think that is just a stereotype. I don't really think there is much that is romantic about France. It is just made to look that way through certain advertisments and stuff.

Not me really. In my opinion, it's not really a place that makes it romantic unless you count sunset at a beach, it's the person you are with and what you are doing. e.g. a candlelight dinner in london beats a day in a castle.

i thought it was just me, i went to paris expecting great thinks and it was such a let down, i couldnt wait to get out of the place. neaver want to go back to france. if you are looking for some place romantic find a quite beach in asia some where, white sand, blue water, complete peace and freedom.

They are very naive, and don't do love at Home enough.
In France romance is on the head and....,is on every Heart beat. It's a way of Life, the best to live. But burns. The younger are less romantic even growing and living in France.

But Italians do it better...after all,the word/concept is invented there.Rome.
