Will airfare for Paris come down before May 2006?

You need to book airfare as soon as possible. The closer you are to departure, the more likely it is that airfare is going to go up. So you want to book it soon. It is very, very unlikely that these rates will come down before May 2006.

perhaps airfare will go down but i suggest get on line the different travel agencies. as a guide visit the site of the American Society of Travel Agencies (astanet.com)

Unfortunately, the season for lowest airfare ends March 30 (Sometimes you can find an airline that extends the winter fares into April). Icelandair often has good fares- of course it depends on your point of origin. I wouldn't expect to find airfares for May 2006 falling at this point.

Overall, fares will definitely trend upwards from this point on. They're already high! But you're still in the right zone for "special offers". If you keep an eye out for them in the next few weeks, there's a good likelyhood you might get lucky. But you have to work at it and be ready to act the minute you spot a great deal (...and be very flexible)
A good place to start looking is Http://farechase.yahoo.com
Other resources: Orbitz, Hotwire, Travelzoo, etc...
You just got to do lots of searches. Happy hunting!

Europe fares tend to go up the nearer you get to the summer/spring months, as this is the "busy" season for travel to europe... Frequent Flyer mile reward seats also tend to dry up during this period.. You MIGHT be able to find a deal here or there, but will more than likely have to be VERY flexible on your dates.
