Go to Paris. Experience something different, including the language. They speak English too, especially at all "tourist" places (just maybe somewhat reluctantly?) lol
I plan on going next year. |

I'd much rather go to Paris, I love the atmosphere there and everything is just so beautiful. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
I have absolutely no desire to see London. |

I've been to both twice and I'd pick London. It's worthwhile to see each place once, but if you have to choose, I would go with London. I find that there is more to do there and in the surrounding area including Stonehenge, etc.
It depends what you want to do and what type of vacation you are looking for. |

I love London, and am going there again for the 2nd time in April. But I would love to visit Paris again as I only was there for a day last year on my cruise. Would love to be able to explore more and experience the culture more. |

I've been to both cities many times and like them both.
However, London has become far more expensive than Paris and value for money is simply not as good.
Paris is an easier city to get around in. Its more compact and most of the important tourist sights are easily walked. If you take the Paris metro its a lot more convenient (and cheaper) then the London tube. |

I'd rather go to London, England just because I can speak the same language... And I have family there... |

I prefer Paris. I find it much more beautiful, and while Paris is expensive enough, London is much more expensive. |

We lived in Paris for 3 months back in the early '80s. We found the people friendly and had a diverse population much like San Francisco. It is an extremely easy city to get around with the Metro system. There were endless places to visit for the art lover and the food was fantastic. Someday we hope to return and enjoy the City of Lights and all it has to offer. |

I have been to both more than once and my answer depends upon what kind of trip I want. If I am am going on a long trip I would most likely include both. I love both for different aspects that they have. |
