I think the Brandenburg Gate and Unter den Linden is a must see. There are also a few good museums as well.
I would also recommend you visit Checkpoint Charlie and the memorial to Holocaust victims as well as the former Gestapo Headquarters, which is now in ruins, but has a very interesting outdoor photo and history exhibit. The Jewish museum is also interesting, but was a disappointment. They have vey tight security with airport-style screeners and 24/7 police patrol outside and guards. Inside, there was very little to see (so much was destroyed after all). IT is mainly just empty rooms and a few artifacts behind thick glass.
Also interesting the Olympic Stadium that was built for the Nazi olympics in the 1930s. One of the last surviving examples of Nazi architeture. It's a real history lesson to visit and very haunting sort of place.
