Are Germans rude - or did I get them wrong?

I ask that because if I read here some posts I got the feeling that they are very rude and sexistic.

Well some posts on here are but who knows if the posters are German or else? we have for sure some trolls on here but I m not sure if they are German.
Normally Germans are not rude.

Oompah Loompah.
No, I have been to Germany many times end I think they are always very polite. For example, they help you out if you only know a little bit of the German lingo. Or perhaps you get lost and need directions.
I noticed little acts of generosity more so than in other countries - for instance the car that breaks down at a busy junction in Berlin and then total strangers get out to help out.
The Germans....the Berliners particularly ... really nice and friendly people.
My suggestion is to ignore all the war and the posts where people are criticising German people.

Depends what YOU consider is rude or sexistic

no way! Most Germans are really polite, proper, friendly and like things clean. I can't say that for all germans. Like in every country in the world there's at least one jerk. For the most part Germans are very nice people. I really noticed that once i got back to the states and noticed how a lot of americans are slobs and care little about their appearence.

North Germans can be very rude, that's true.
I live in South Germany and many people here don't like them.
