St George's Bookshop on Woertherstr. in Prenzlauerberg is absolutely brilliant. They have a wide selection of secondhand books in every conceivable subject. They also have events and book club meetings, if you are interested in improving your language skills or in meeting expats.

You can get some from amazon.de, they usually come within a day or so. I get a lot from there.

Confused
I get my English books at Dussmann or Hugendubel. This are 2 big bookstores.

Dussmann is near s-bahn station Friedrichsstraße

Hugendubel you can find near the s-bahn station Zoologischer Garten

There are several. First of all, many art/design bookstores (e.g., there is a bit one on Albrechtstr., just about the corner of Reinhardstr) sell also English language books. Then, shops like Dussmann (on Friedrichstrasse) also have many English language titles (about half a floor), which includes some arts and design titles.
