hi, me and 7 of my friends are going to berlin 28th july- 4th august this summer
were all aged 17-19, were pretty worried about getting into clubs etc and we would like to get the real taste of the city
so if anyone had any tips whether it be clubs, pubs, attractions, cafes or anything it would be appreciated
The only clubs I know of are
SO36 - been going for the last 30 years and Kitkat club. You will have fun if you just pub crawl around Kreuzberg, Prenzlauerberg, Mitte, Friedrichshain. This is where the students are.

For general information and a good read, buy the Exberliner magazine (it is English) or the Zitty.

Just be aware the drinking law has changed from beer at age 16 to age 18. So your 17 years old friends might be left out some nights.
Edit: Not sure if the law has changed yet. My husband says it has. BUt I only find articles about them being in the process of changing it.
Perhaps someone else in that age group on here would know for sure.
Either way if the law has not changed you can only drink beer not spirits * )
