Best Germany city nightlife ? |
I live in London but I’m hitting Amsterdam on January, I go there quiet often since it’s only a 6 hour drive from London via Eurotunnel or ferry. This time I intend to go from Netherlands into Germany and spend a couple of days there before driving down to Prague for another couple of days before returning back to London.
My question is which German city is the best to visit for 3 young men in there mid 20’s, and when I mean best I’m talking about nightlife… CLUBS & GIRLS, specifically similar or better than London if possible.
Thanx |

I have worked in a few German Cities, and feel that the more South you go, the more friendly the locals are. The best place I found was Munich (Munchen) with its shops, bars, nightclubs, restaraunts, music down the pedestrian streets. The place itself made you feel happy to start with, it can be expensive though and especially now that the convertion rate pound/euro is poor for the holidaymaker. |

definately berlin, although its clubs are a little spread out they are some of the best in the world, they're underground and crazy, best clubbing experience ive ever had, some good clubs are tresor, panorama bar/berghain, kit kat club and watergate (although panorama bar/berghain is extremely hard to get into, but you never know, alot of people say its the best club in the world.
have fun :) |

For you three, I would say Hamburg. From what I have heard and read, it is very similar to London and Amsterdam. It is a seaport and has been playing host to sailors on shore leave, so I would guess that they are very used to entertaining groups of young men. |

Definitely Hamburg. I have no idea why people keep saying Berlin, it's really not that great there.
Hamburg isn't far from Amsterdam either, so it's a short trip over. Hamburg has a lot of everything if you either go to the Reeperbahn / Sankt Pauli or the Schanzenviertel. You will find smoky bars, dark clubs, or flashy discos, just depends on what you are looking for. People get drunk there all weekend long..... Have fun! |
