Black Hair Salons in Germany? |
Hi,
I will be moving to northern Germany and am looking for a hair salon that is familiar with black hair and can provide a relaxer. I am willing to travel anywhere in Germany and even to other countries nearby such as the Netherlands. Any recommendations are welcomed. Thank you!!! |

Hi, there. I am from Bremen, and we have a fairly large population of Africans in Bremen. There are quite a few African hairdressers, in the Langemarckstrasse alone there are 3 or 4, run by black people, so they are all into braids etc. I am sure you will find similar hairdressers in the place where you will be going, eg Hamburg is also a cosmopolitan city. |

They have some Black Hair Salons. They call 'em "Afro Shop"and are owned by african people.
I would bring the hair from the US cause they charge a lot of money just for the hair. (They import it from the US). |

There are many shops like this, almost every bigger city has one. These are mostly run by immigrants in small shops away from the big action. Look in the local telephone book or ask black women you meet in the street. You definitely won't have a problem finding such a shop in Hamburg. |

If you're near an American base, you can usually look in the local military paper to find a hair salon that meets your needs. |

I know only one in Frankfurt/M. Good one and very expensive. The big cities like Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg must be have Salons like that. You can look www.telefonbuch.de but in Amsterdam they are having so many of them. Have fun in Germany. |
