Can I take avocados to Germany?

I am flying to Germany from the U.S. to see my family (who are Mexican) and I want to take them some food they cannot buy in Germany. Can I take avocados or are all agricultural products restricted?
Additional Details
She has been livng there for six years and the avocados that she finds in Germany have a different flavor then the ones she bought in Mexico (they are grown and imported from elsewhere). Just curious, I would like to take some but if I can't it's no problem. :) Thank you!

Yes you can, but it makes no sense since we have them in Germany in every supermarket

Lol why would you take them to germany when you could just buy them in germany??? :-)

frackledJJ
No, you cannot. and why would you want to? We can buy avocados in Germany even at every discount grocery store. If there was somethign you could not buy here that easily, sugar cane would come to mind. And Nopales (well, you can buy the plant, but until it is big enough to be eaten, it will cost you a lot to buy one!). But, like I said, agricultural products: Not so good.
If you can, bring them a really good Tequily, since here, mostly there is only up to 80% of true Tequila, cut with 20% other strong liquor, which makes the Tequila you can buy here were hard in taste and mouth feeling.

Actually you could bring Avocados:
http://www.zoll.de/b0_zoll_und_steuern/d0_verbote_und_beschraenkungen/c0_schutz_menschl_gesundh/f0_lebensmittel/a0_priv_einfuhren/index.html

Yet, why bring something which Germany imported 15 tonnes of 2 years ago.
Believe me, you can buy plenty of Avocados in Germany (and I know, the taste is not the same....)
I am sure there are some spices which they cannot get, rather than Avocados

oneiloilokano
Sorry but you can't take fresh fruits or veggies.
You can take anything that is processed and packaged or canned though.

yes you can talk AVO s with you maybe not cases. I took several avos from San Diego to germany because they are expensive there if you do find them. enjoy!

Don't want to repeat the answers from above (and yes, you are not allowed) but why would you like to take some avocados to Germany anyway? Do you think we don't sell them over here?
In any good grocery you can buy them. So what's the problem?
