Medicines sent by mail
The importation of medicines by private individuals by mail is generally prohibited. However, it is possible to import unlicensed medicines in small quantities as ordered by single individuals and within the framework of normal drugstore operation.
In such cases the order must be made by the drugstore authorised by the consignee. This drugstore would also have to declare the goods to Customs. Thus, it shall be ensured that even by mail only safe medicines are introduced.

Yes, you can post the prescription sheet to Germany without expecting problems.
Later on, if you want to post the medicine form or to Germany, put a copy of the prescription inside the package. Also the recipient ought to have a copy of the prescription. |

I don't know the true legalities of your question, but I can tell you that for years, I have been sending some of my prescription medication to my mother who lives in Germany. Usually, I send a package for her birthday and X-mas and in that package I put the prescription medication. At the post office they want you to list the contents of the package and it's value. Just list everything, but the meds. I have never had any problems with that. |
