You don't have to speak German to answer this question. I lived in Europe for awhile and the common currency in Germany, France, etc. is the Euro, that is what that big 'E' with the two lines in the middle stands for. The exchange rate from the Euro to dollars as of today October 14th, 2008 is about $1.366 so if you times this by 5,99 Euros it comes out to about $8.18. You can calculate any price in Euros simply by googling "Euro Exchange Rate" and most of the sites you click on will have some kind of converter on the site where you can type in a currency and the amount and click to convert it and see what the equivalent is in US dollars or some other currency. |
