1. it's in EUROPE!
2. oktoberfest.
3. the people are cool.
4. the language is unique.
5. they have super good beer.
6. they know how to party.
7. the history there is incredible.
8. the cars that are from there are top notch.

I'm German, and I start contradicting number one: autobahn.

1. beautiful landscapes to experience when driving on country roads. Autobahns are boring.
2. variety of food. Each region has their specialties, and I bet you'll gain weight after being in Germany for 6 or 8 weeks, without ever having seen a fastfood restaurant
3. directness / bluntness of speech. Germans aren't politically correct and yell their opinions right into your face. Learn live with it, or die.

Those are the three major things. All others are, in some way, derived from them. There are hundreds of things which vary from region to region. Just like never call a breadroll a Semmel in Berlin, and never call it a Schrippe in Bavaria. Those tiny little inter-cultural things are fun to find out.

1. The beer
2. The women
3. The food
4. The generosity and personalities of the people are great
5. The mountains
6. The picturesque old towns and cities
7. A new Festival or party almost every month
8. The weather

Answer is based on my experience in Munich, which is the best city in Germany and possibly Europe.

Having a lot of Italians here is not a plus.

6. manners and the food (you so have to try currywurst or döner)
7. the language, historic sites and the history itself is interesting (well leave out the WWII)

10. neat places everywhere

12. a lot of chocolatesand cakes

1. Berlin. The best city in the world, even better and prettier than London (where two of them were born).

2. Swimming in the summer and skiing in the winter.

3. The coffee shops serve very LARGE slices of cake.

4. Being able to speak two languages.

5. Lots of Italians live in Germany, so you get really good pizza and extra good ice-cream.

6. Having lots of friends who speak different languages (English, German, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Greek).

7. Going ice-skating in winter.

8. Our friends P and M who are kind and funny and let us sleep over at their house.

(Please note that the grown-ups love P and M too, for exactly the same reason.)

9. Kika - the children’s TV channel.

(The grown-ups love Kika too. It is advert-free and age-appropriate.)

10. There are lots of different sports you can do - cycling, walking, skiing, swimming, gymnastics.
