First, make sure you are searching for "Munich" or "Munchen". Then, try searching for some International Hostel Sites. The world cup is an extremely popular time to be traveling, so you may have some difficulty as many places have been booked for awhile. But, I wish you nothing but luck anyway.

You can stay in Garching, in Hotel Ludwig.It isn't very expensive...

don't ask for a good hostel to stay during the world cup, I think you're lucky if you even get a room. possible that everythings bookd out by now
