To live i d chose Berlin Grunewald

Grunewald is the priciest.
Stay away from the Schroederstrasse in the Mitte. It's really skanky there.

Expensive - Grunewald, Wannsee, parts of inner city like Prenzlauerberg. Wannsee has beautiful stately homes. Most places around lakes eg - Krummelanke, Schlachtensee - that is where the big houses are and rent, expensive.

Wannsee is definitely my favourite place for walks along the lake, for going out the liveliest places are in Stadtmitte.
