I would recommend you in Germany Berlin, Köln (Cologne), Hamburg and München (Munich).
Berlin is the maintown and awesome. There is much to see and the nighlife is great. Many clubs and bars.
Cologne is very interessting. There is the dome which u should have be seen and you can walk next to the Rhein (River) there are many bars side by side. If u really see how Germans go out then go to Cologne.
Munich is a very pretty city there is also the Oktoberfest they know how to party.
Hamburg is at the Ocean and has the biggest German Harbor and there is the "Reeperbahn". It´s very very famous. It´s a street only with clubs ond table-dance and so on...
In Austria i can recommend you either Wien or Salzburg. Both citys are interessting and nice. But unfortunately I can tell you about their nightlife.
Have fun on your trip!!! |

I'd say Berlin is waay up there if not #1. I spent a month there in 2005, and only scratched the surface of stuff to do. It's a very young city - lots of beautiful young women, and a real vibrant nightlife scene which encompasses everything from Opera to Techno and beyond, and everything in-between.
Plus Berlin is a relatively inexpensive city to visit - there is a lot of different options as to where to stay, and several really nice hostels.
It's just one of the most exciting cities in Europe - so it would absolutely be my choice. |

I cannot say anything about the women (never really noticed, sorry), but as far as towns are concerned I would recommend
1. Vienna in Austria, and
2. in Germany Berlin (without further comments, nightlife included), Heidelberg (like a fairy tale town), Cologne (unbelievable scenery if you travel by train), Stuttgart (great modern art museums and very picturesque villages and towns in the area, i.e. Tuebingen) . A lot of people (Germans included) say that Hamburg, Dresden or the north coast are worth visiting. |

SALZBURG. Been there 4 times. Trust me SALZBURG. There is a strip of pubs clubs on the riverfront full of girls. The pubs are awesome. There are also American college students there this time of year so the parties are some of the best in europe. |

I can only second and third the guys on top. Berlin is the place to go. If you think you want to go more south, Frankfurt would be the next best thing. Munich is more of a Tourist City and all the "sidewalks roll up at 1am" unless you are part of the high society. Go to Berlin and/or Frankfurt and if you think you need to go to Austria, the only place there is Vienna. |
