It's hard to guess. I'm from Bavaria, Germany, and today I wore jeans, sneakers, a t-shirt, and a lether jacket in the evening, as temperatures can be refreshing and suprisingly cold at this time of year. Let me put it that way: We had day temperatures of 24°C daytime, and it's getting down to 6°C night.
German climate is usually something like the New England one in the US, someone told me. May can be cold, but also warm; but one thing is for sure: There is almost no week in Germany without rain or drizzle. So be prepared for the best (25°C or above) and for the worst (9°C and rain all week long). I'd recommend for May a sweater and a rainproof jacket as well as t-shirts and swimming gear. |

Had a look on the map - it loks so green! Take a variety because it could rain, but will be warm and maybe humid. What kind of conference? For formal, I would bring a suit, but not a warm one. For normal, bring jeans, good walking shoes and a few shirts, raincoat. |
